Automations Specialist

We are looking for an Automations Specialist who will be in charge of developing and designing new software systems by reviewing, repairing, maintaining and testing systems to improve our business operations. Your focus should be on performing analysis and research in order to determine the weakness and strength of our existing systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identifying quality issues and bugs in service, development and business processes
  • Recommending improvements to existing systems based on analysis of data to increase efficiency or reduce costs
  • Installing databases and applications crucial to automation
  • Configuring hardware and electronic parts
  • Testing operating system performance
  • Analyzing data to determine trends in usage patterns to predict future needs
  • Collecting requirements from end-users or clients to create the best automation strategies
  • Collaborating with other departments to understand how automation can improve the productivity

REQUIREMENTS

  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
  • At least one year experience in process automations
  • Understanding of how digital automation processes work
  • Proficiency in the system automation process
  • Computer science skills: knowing how to operate a computer, managing software, controlling cybersecurity threats and testing computer applications
  • Project management skills: ability to delegate tasks, track automation results, implement improvements and collect project data 
  • Problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to learn new things or trends in the IT field
  • Knowledge of English at an advanced level

This will be a remotely administered FULL TIME [40 hr/week] position with an immediate starting date upon hire. You will need to be able to accommodate different schedules and time zones. You will need a quiet workspace with fast internet, a webcam, and a microphone for video calls. This role is compensated on purely experience, and you will receive considerable levels of autonomy and ownership over your projects.
